Since September 2018, an official crisis management plan for storm is available for the French foresty and wood sector.
The plan is based on past experience of major storm events in France (“Lothar and Martin” in 1999, “Klaus” in 2009).
The Regional Directorate of Agriculture, Food and Forestry offices (DRAAF) will be responsible for implementing this plan at the local level.
